Good luck to Nick Rueth and Stephen Buchanan at the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament.  Nick will wrestle tonight and Stephen tomorrow.

Good luck to the Girls Basketball team on their WIAA Regional Semi-final tonight.  The game is here at 7:00.  Tickets are $4.00 for students and adults.

Good luck to the Boys Basketball team on their East/West Play-off game at Regis tonight.  The JV plays at 5:45 and the Varsity at 7:15.

If you are an FFA member who is on a judging team, please come to the AG room at the beginning of RTI to vote on shirts, this will only take about 5 minutes.

The FFA is sponsoring a hypnotist today.  All students are to report to the HS gym after 6th hour today.

Reminder to FFA members thinking about attending the EDGE/212 Leadership Conference, your money and permission slip is due by this Friday.

Reminder to juniors – The ACT test will take place next week Tuesday and Wednesday.  Please remember to be prompt as there are no late admissions, bring along a sharp #2 pencil, a calculator and a photo ID.  You will meet Mr. Jackson in the elementary gym at 8:00 and walk to Trinity Lutheran Church (weather permitting). 

The Wisconsin Elks is running a US Constitution Contest.  The contest consists of a 40-question multiple-choice test.  Top three winners are awarded cash prizes of $150, $125 and $100.  The local winner will then compete at the state contest on Sunday, March 26 in Wausau and is guaranteed a minimum for $500.  Interested students should stop in the office for more information by Friday, February 23.

Dress Code Reminders:

Students may choose their own style of dress and personal appearance, as long as it does not disrupt the operation of the school or endanger student safety and/or health. Any clothing which is considered obscene or inappropriate will not be allowed.

Specifically:

  • All footwear is to be securely fastened to your foot. Flip-flops are not allowed in school. They are not good for your feet and are a safety hazard.
  • All shorts and skirts are to be long enough to reach your fingertips, with your arms straight by your side.
  • Skin tight pants have to be covered by a long enough shirt or tunic to reach your fingertips, with your arms straight by your side.
