Snow Plow Bid Notice


Bids are now being taken for snow plowing on school property for the School District of Loyal.  Sealed bids are to be submitted on a cost per hour basis.  Bids should also list the type of equipment and/or vehicles to be utilized.  

LEP Delivery

Delivery for the LEP (Loyal Elementary Pride) items will be Thursday, October 12th.  Your child's orders can be picked up after school.

Remember that the orders cannot be taken on the bus.  We appreciate you picking them up.

Football Game Time Change

The start time for the football game against Gilman has been moved up to 6:00 p.m.  They are anticipating thunderstorms about 8:00 p.m.

Homecoming Days

Loyal will be celebrating Homecoming all next week, September 25 - September 30.  We sure hope your child will take part in all the fun activities.  

Volunteers Needed

The Loyal Elementary School Faculty will soon begin its 3rd year of Professional Learning Communities (PLC’s) and your help is needed.  The PLC time will take place on Thursday mornings from 7:45 to 8:30.  During this time, the staff will collaborate in order to best meet the needs of the students.  Volunteers are essential to make this a success

Draper Hills Financial Literacy Endowment Creates a Model for Philanthropic Support of Public Education

On Friday, September 8, 2017, School District of Loyal Superintendent Cale Jackson officially accepted a $25,000 grant from the Draper Hills Financial Literacy Endowment, which was established by Dr. Eldon Hill.

To create better communication between school and home, and for a more relaxed but confidential environment, we are once again going to have an open house for the 2017/2018 school year.  

School Registration

The registration dates for next fall have been set.  Mark your calendars for TUESDAY, AUGUST 15th and  WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16th .  School personnel will be available from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. both days.  We look forward to seeing you then.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 14th and Monday, November 20th.   


Public School Open Enrollment Application Period begins February 5.

Online applications for public school open enrollment for the 2018-19 school year, Wisconsin’s public school choice program, will be available on the Department of Public Instruction website beginning Feb. 5 through April 30.

Book Fair

The Book Fair is coming! It will be held in the Elementary Library during Parent/Teacher Conferences as well as be open from 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM for parents and grandparents to browse on the following dates: November 13th – 17th, 20th, and 21st.

Elementary Teacher Requests

It won’t be long and we will begin looking at making class lists for the 2018-2019 school year.  I would like to explain some of the information we take into consideration when developing class rosters.
