The Agriculture Department is in full swing! Landscaping students are traveling off-site to work on projects.  The Natural Resource class has been timber cruising and is now wrapping up the forestry unit. Small Animal students just finished their nutrition unit by baking treats for their pets! 7th grade exploring students have covered topics including the importance of agriculture, animal terminology, dairy, pet ownership, and honeybees.

Welcome Back

Fall is upon us and it has been a wonderfully mild season this year.  Even though the leaves are switching to vivid shades of yellow, red, and orange, the temperature has been unseasonably warm.  The kiddos are enjoying recess and outdoor phy ed classes and watching football games and cross-country meets is even more fun when the weather is warm.  All of these things have made the transition back to school so much easier this fall.

PAWS - Positive Awesome Wonderful Students

PAWS is a positive reinforcement program used at Loyal Elementary School to recognize students that go above and beyond normal expectations.  These are to be awarded to students outside of normal classroom management programs.  To increase the effectiveness of the PAWS program, the slips should be used with discretion for behaviors that go above and beyond normal expectations.
