New Financial Literacy Class for 7th graders

Financial Literacy

This school year brought a brand-new financial literacy class to all seventh-grade students at Loyal Junior High!  This class builds off the already existing K-6 financial literacy program and curriculum and focuses largely on entrepreneurship.  Students were challenged to start their own hypothetical, yet realistic business by brainstorming a product or service, writing a business plan, and creating materials to help market and advertise their new business.

Business ideas included handmade jewelry, fishing lures, pet identification methods, water filters, recycled clothing, and more.
