Over 50 students in grades K-5 participated in a variety of stations related to savings, coin counting, identifying wants, needs, goods, and services, as well as creating their own financial literacy I Spy game.
In recent weeks, Mrs. Zarnke and the SIFMA Stock Market Game celebrated the fifth grade financial literacy students for successfully completing the spring Stock Market Game! Loyal fifth graders competed against other fourth and fifth graders throughout the state. One Loyal 5th grade team, “Million to Billion,” placed 3rd (see photo below). Congratulations to all 5th graders!
Juniors in Personal Finance wrapped up their learning with a mock interview with school board members and local HR representatives. Students were given the opportunity to practice their learning from handshakes and eye contact to providing clear and concise responses to interview questions.
