The School District of Loyal Board of Education has named Christopher Lindner as the District Administrator beginning with the 2020-21 school year. Mr. Lindner, the current Jr/Sr High principal, has been employed by the district since 1994 initially serving as the technology and drivers education instructor for 18 years before assuming a principal administrative role.

Mr. Lindner has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education from UW-Stout and a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from UM-Winona. He is in the process of completing his District Administrator’s certification from Concordia University.

As a principal, Mr. Lindner has been instrumental in spearheading programs to improve curriculum, staff development, district policies, faculty evaluation, student conduct, overseeing school budgeting, and K-12 writing initiatives. His focus on student learning extends from those individuals pursuing post-secondary education across the board to intervention strategies for those who struggle to achieve.

In the Loyal community, Mr. Lindner is widely recognized through past and present roles as a City Council alderman, Chamber of Commerce board member, alumni FFA lifetime member, Loyal Nostalgias Car Show coordinator, Modern Woodman Hometown Hero award recipient and as an active member of the Loyal Lions Club. Mr. Lindner has coached various levels of basketball for the district but is well known for the strong HS football program that he has built as head coach.

The Board of Education is confident that Mr. Lindner’s obvious pride in our school district’s past successes coupled with his ideas for future endeavors will be the great leadership necessary in his new role as District Administrator.
